This week's meeting included planning for the various upcoming events in Lewisham during the Easter holidays, catching up with recent work and suggestions on how to improve this website.

This week's meeting included discussion and work on the updating of the Children and Young People's Plan.

This week's meeting included planning for Miguel's RAR! Night Showcase event in April and further discussions with the Youth Advising Police Group.

This week's meeting included further discussion on Jacob's budget and visits from members of the Drug Action Team and Youth Advising Police Group - both of whom are looking for more young people to get involved with their work.

This week's meeting included discussion of the proposed AQA modules on being a Young Advisor, Young Mayor and Deputy Young Mayor and information on the Youth Advising Police Group.

Young Advisors - 22nd Feb 2010

This week's meeting included a visit from homelessness organisation Nightstop and further discussion of Jacob's budget. The main themes coming through are based on community cohesion, increased publicity and achievement and skills. The first consultation with the Young Citizens' Panel will take place on Wednesday 24th February.

This week's meeting included a visit from drug awareness group Mentor UK, provisional discussions of Jacob's budget and a lively debate about gang violence in Lewisham.

Young Advisors - 8th Feb 2010

This week's meeting included visits from Lewisham Young Women's Resource Project, Macedonian project Blue Sky Youth Network and representatives from the British Council. The Young Advisors evaluated the usefulness of foreign exchanges and youth democracy.

This week's meeting included a visit from the NEET programme and the first discussions of Jacob's budget priorities. Nick Battantou was also elected as Chair of Young Advisors with Naz Ramadan as Deputy Chair.
