Jacob Sakil : 2009 - 2010

Jacob Sakil was elected as the sixth Young Mayor of Lewisham in October 2009. The 2009 election saw a record turnout with over 50% of young people voting. Jacob is in the process of putting together his £30,000 budget proposals with the Young Advisors.
Miguel Gutierrez Astudillo : 2008 - 2009

Miguel Gutierrez Astudillo was elected as the fifth Young Mayor of Lewisham in October 2008. Miguel worked very closely with the Lewisham Young Citizens' Panel while planning his £25,000 budget proposals which were performing opportunites for young musicians, actors and dancers, alternative sports provision ahead of the 2012 Olympics, wider publicity of available groups and events and community saftey and intergenerational projects.
Justin Cole : 2007 - 2008

Justin Cole was elected as the fourth Young Mayor of Lewisham in October 2007. Justin was keen to use his budget on a wide variety of activities and improvements in the borough. These included a young people's conference which was followed by a football tournament, a positive mix CD, a revamp of the B-Involved website and community block parties encouraging more interaction between different age groups.
Siobhan Bell : 2006 - 2007
Deputy: Luziane Tchiegue-Nouta

Siobhan Bell was elected as the third Young Mayor of Lewisham in October 2006. Siobhan worked closely with her Deputy, Luziane, to build on previous projects around arts and music development as well celebrating young people's achievements and open mic events so young people could express their opinions on current affairs and issues.
Wilf Petherbridge : 2005 - 2006

Wilf Petherbridge was elected as the second Young Mayor of Lewisham in October 2005. As well as chairing a cabinet meeting at 10 Downing Street Wilf was instrumental in establishing the RAR! Nights at the Albany in Deptford, a tag rugby tournament for primary school children and the first ever Young Mayor's stage at Lewisham People's Day.
Manny Hawks : 2004 - 2005

Deputy: Camilla Dickson
Manny Hawks was elected as the first Young Mayor of Lewisham in April 2004. Through negotiations with the Metropolitan Police, the NHS and Lewisham Sports Academy his budget was increased from £25,000 to £37,500 allowing him and his Young Advisors to set up free rehearsal spaces for young musicians and bands, a series of workshops on community safety, a primary school cricket tournament, the B-Involved website and a free directory of services for young people in the borough.
